Charity and Community Activities
Blankets & Toy Drive: SSP conducts Blankets & Toy Drives each year around Christmas / winter time to provide blankets / toys to the underprivileged in the Bay Area (We provide about 200 blankets/toys)
Back to School Drive : SSP conducts Back to School Drives each year at Summer to provide back to school supplies to the needy in Bay area.
Financial Aid : SSP supports financial aid for Underprivileged High School Seniors (Paid $20,000, for the year 2023)
Care Package Seva : SSP participates in Care Package Seva by Special Needs Children (~25 care packages per month). Conducted by Special need youths – 4th Saturdays 3:30-4:30 PM)
Family Giving tree: SSP participates in family giving tree every winter.
Animal Shelters: SSP provides donations/food to animal shelters regularly
Periodical help for natural calamities: SSP provides donations for disaster occuring due to natural calamities like earthquake, floods etc
Shelter Cooking: SSP does cooking at shelters and provides food to the needy on a regular basis.
Food Pantry Donations: SSP donates food supplies regularly to local city needs.
Health Fair: SSP conducts periodic health fair covering various medical and holistic health(in 2023 we had close to 30 practicing providers that provided service for various discipline)
Health Drives and educational sessions : SSP organizes Periodic Covid / Flu vaccination drives , Bone marrow drives , Blood driveSessions on endocrinology, diabetes etc, . Reiki/Pranic Healing, Yoga, Sessions/Seminars on College preparation. financial planning and many more
Classes: SSP conducts weekly classes for kids covering languages, arts, music, dance, program for special needs children, Special program for seniors and many more
Special Services: SSP conducts special services like Notary and many more .
