As you all are aware by now, Nepal and parts of India was hit by a massive earthquake of magnitude 7.8 on the Richter scale. As per various reports, it is feared that there are about 5,000 casualties and the number is likely to increase.
Our heart goes out to the bereaved families and we pray BABA to give the much needed strength at this time.
As part of its Charitable activities, SSP will be donating $3,000 to a non-profit organization that is involved in relief efforts in Nepal. SSP is also initiating a fundraiser and donations received from devotees will be provided to the non-profit organization. Additionally, as a mark of respect, we request devotees to join us now to offer condolences to the grieving families and observe silence for 90 seconds prior to start of Shej arathi. The arathi will start after the silence.
