Children today are the golden future of tomorrow. In order to achieve this goal, it is imperative to raise children with good spiritual and moral values. It is our responsibility to teach children about the existing super natural power that is “GOD”. Deep knowledge is not required to describe HIM. Children need to realize that GOD is the primary necessity and the greatest strength for everyone.
With Baba’s grace, one of Shirdi Sai Parivaar’s volunteer has designed a plan which can be followed by everyone. The first basic level is to spend ONLY a minute a day!! First thing that children need to do, in the morning, is to wish GOD and ask HIM to give them a good day. Similarly, the last thing they need, at the end of the day, is to thank GOD for giving them a good day !!! This whole exercise will take less than a minute to do.
When we wish our kids to choose a good path, our responsibility is to first follow and help them follow it. As days pass by, our kids will do it on their own. Now that we have sown the seed, it is very important to give them proper nourishment. As part of the Thursday SSP Bala Sathsang program, Shirdi Sai Parivaar volunteers would like to create spiritual awareness in children by teaching them the importance of GOD and how praying, chanting, reading holy books, reciting shlokas, art/craft activities, and other spiritual practices can lead to the path of spiritual well-being. Additionally, we would like to inculcate moral values in children by teaching them to build good character and follow the path of righteousness. Once the kids complete the basic level they will then move on to the next level. We request parents to encourage their children to actively participate in the SSP Bala Sathsang program which will be held every Thursday from 7:30-8:30 P.M. Please note that ultimately it is the parent’s responsibility to teach children spiritual and moral values so that they become the good citizens and the golden future of tomorrow.
Adult Volunteers: Volunteers who would like to impart teachings of Baba through arts/crafts/songs/stories are invited to lead an activity any one of the Thursdays. If you want to volunteer please register.
