SSP is hosting monthly Cultural Event on Saturday, August 30th, 2025 in Multi Purpose Room. Details are as the following:

1:30 to 2:30 PM: Classical Kuchipudi dances, performed by Guru Smt. Madhuri Kishore and her talented students.

An enchanting evening of Kuchipudi, a vibrant classical dance form that blends expressive storytelling, intricate footwork, and graceful movements. The presentation will bring to life powerful mythological themes through performances celebrating Lord Krishna’s divine playfulness, Goddess Durga’s fierce strength, the meditative stillness of Shiva, and the rhythmic beauty of the Tharangam, a unique dance performed on the rim of a brass plate with a pot on the head. Each piece honors tradition while illuminating the spirit of devotion and artistry that defines Kuchipudi.

4:00 PM to 6:00 PM: Hindustani Vocal Concert by Shri. Srijan Deshpande accompanied by Shri. Rajdeep Singh on Harmonium and Shri Amod Dandawate on Tabla.

Srijan ji will perform bandishes in various Hindustani Ragas and Sai Bhajans.
