In addition to ongoing community activities, Shirdi Sai Parivaar has been initiating additional drives as part of our 10th Anniversary celebrations. We are pleased to communicate that we are launching a “New Clothes” drive on Mar 1st 2015, to help and fulfill the needs of various homeless shelters across Bay Area.

Some of the organizations include,

1. Sacred Heart Community Service, San Jose,
2. St. Anthony Church, San Jose,
3. HomeFirst, Milpitas,
4. Project WeHOPE, Palo Alto etc (we are in the process of reaching additional organizations)

The Organiztions are currently in immediate need of the following:

1. Men’s Jeans (waist size 32-34) and Women’s Jeans (waist size 14-18),
2. Underwear(adult sizes). Should be in sealed packages.
3. Shoes (adult size); Sports shoes preferred.
4. Any other clothing that fits adults.

To keep up with the mandatory requirement from the organizations, we are requesting devotees to drop off “unused NEW Clothes” only. Items like underwear should be in commercially sealed packages.

Please note that we are NOT accepting any used clothes or partially opened packages, at this time.

We request devotees to participate in this drive, and drop off the items in a bin, that is placed in the lobby.

The New clothes drive is scheduled from Mar 1st 2015 to April 16th 2015.
