Shirdi Sai Parivaar is pleased to announce that it will be conducting a blood drive on Thursday, Jul 16th, in association with Stanford Blood Center.  Details for the blood drive are as follows:

Location: Multipurpose Room at the Shirdi Sai Center, 1221 California Circle, Milpitas

Blood donors have to meet the following conditions:

• Be at least 17 years of age
• Weigh at least 110 lbs
• Be free of cold or flu symptoms
• Eat before donating & drink plenty of fluids
• Bring Photo ID

Unfortunately, you will be deferred:

• If you stayed in U.K. for a cumulative time of three months or more between 1980 and 1996
• If you spent five years or more since 1980 in specified European countries
• For one year, if within the last twelve months, you traveled to India or certain parts of Mexico, China, Africa, Central and South America, the Caribbean or the Philippines

Your eligibility for a specific donation type will be determined by blood center staff after review of your history
