DESCRIPTION:SSP Annual Shri Ganesha Clay Molding workshop will be held on-site at Temple on September 16th\, 2023 in Two sessions. \nSession 1: 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM \nSession 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM \nWorkshop for kids to make Lord Ganesha idol using clay. Instructor will help in every step of the way for making Lord Ganesha idol. As a tradition\, idols of Lord Ganesh are worshiped and are immersed in lakes\, rivers or wells. \nIdol making is an art that is passed on from generation to generation. Idols made with natural ingredients are preferred over the painted ones as they are made with artificial clay. Hence Shirdi Sai Parivaar is indefinitely continuing this long term SSP visionary program. \nThe program will be on  Every Thursday from 9:30 AM to 2:00 PM. The program is initially designed for 14 weeks and based on the participant’s engagement and feedback may be improved and extended on a permanent basis. \nThis Program has been designed to create a wholesome experience with activities specifically designed for seniors and also provide volunteering opportunities for willing seniors. DESCRIPTION:Sairam Saibandhus\, \nShirdi Sai Parivaar was formed in October 2004 and the Shirdi Sai Center in Milpitas was established in 2010.  Main goal of Shirdi Sai Parivaar has been to spread the teachings and philosophy of Shirdi Sai Baba and to be involved in various Charitable and Community based activities.  In this regard\, SSP is planning to initiate several projects for Senior Citizens. Short term goal of the project is to offer various activities/programs  for Senior Citizens.  Long term goal is to establish an independent senior living residential community for seniors who are self-dependent and do not need managed health care. This survey is being conducted to gauge the interest level and to understand the needs of senior citizens so that SSP can plan various activities accordingly. \nThe current plan we have is to offer activities for Senior Citizens for few hours in  a week (58 years and above). This will be initially like a 2-hour program in our existing premises at SSP Milpitas  and then eventually grow in a way that it can be offered  all 5 days of the week. At this point in time we are restricting one calendar per household\, please do not make a request if you already have received your copy.\nSSP Calendar Request Form  \n \nWe have our volunteers distributing calendars from most Bay area cities and upon receiving your request\, we will email you about the Calendar Pickup instructions.  In most of the cases\, we will ask you to pick the calendar from one of our volunteers in your city.  \n \nIf we don’t have coverage of volunteers in your area\, we may ask you to visit SSP Milpitas at an allocated time and our volunteer will hand you the calendar in the parking lot. SUMMARY:SSP Annual Donation Drive
DESCRIPTION:Give food to the hungry\, water to the thirsty\, and clothes to the naked\, Then God will be pleased. If I take one rupee as Dakshina from anybody\, I have to return it tenfold to him - Sai Baba\n \nWe hope that by Baba’s grace you are all staying safe and healthy.  This year has been challenging because of COVID-19 pandemic.  Since April\, Shirdi Sai Parivaar(SSP) has remained closed to the public due to health restrictions imposed by the County of Santa Clara. Since then\, our volunteers have been providing uninterrupted Arati service to Baba.  All other activities\, pujas\, cultural events\, classes have gone virtual.  Despite the pandemic situation\, SSP has been continuing to involve in various charitable and community activities  and various relief efforts with help of our dedicated volunteers. Some of the activities that we are involved are as below:  \n\nHand Stitched Masks – we have provided approx. 3500 reusable masks to health care providers and law enforcement authorities. \nMonetary Donations for PPE – we have made donations of USD 3500 to Valley Health Foundation Hospitals towards medical supplies. \nMeal Services at Homeless Shelters – we have made an interim donation of USD 3500\, two tons of Vegetables and other cooking supplies to various shelters. \nFood Drive – We have been providing a list of food items like cereals\, bars\, etc to Milpitas Food Bank as per their needs since the start of the stay at home order. We have so far incurred USD 10000 towards this.\nDisaster Relief – We have helped victims of recent North Cal wildfire victim rehabilitation and also Hyderabad Flood victims to a total of USD 7000\nOther Activities in Progress – We are actively working with local food banks in order to increase the frequency and quantity of dry rations to Milpitas Food bank as well as Modesto Gospel Church\n\nAll the above mentioned charitable and community activities are possible because of the generous support of our volunteers and devotees. To continue with various charitable and community activities\, Shirdi Sai Parivaar is pleased to initiate a donation drive and devotees can choose to donate for causes as below:  \nAnnadanam/Food Donation – Devotees can sponsor Annadanam by giving donation using link provided below. SSP will Procure food on behalf of devotees and will donate to Milpitas food pantry and Second Harvest Food Bank to serve homeless and needy people. Your generous donation will help Shirdi Sai Parivaar to donate more foods to various charities during the current COVID-19 pandemic situation.  \nTemple Operations – This is for general temple operations  \nMortgage Bearer – The primary goal of the mortgage bearer program is to raise funds that will be used for paying off the mortgage loan.-Devotees can pay one time donation using link provided below or can participate by signing up to pay a recurring amount-Payment interval could be Monthly\, Quarterly\, Half-Yearly or Annual basis-Payment method: Check\, Bank Transfer\, Paypal or Credit Card  \n Donation Link \nHow it works in 2 easy steps:\n1.
