DESCRIPTION:SSP presents Fourth SSP Carnatic Mela with the theme Carnatic Banis showcasing Thematic presentations by schools to highlight Banis styles in Music – through Saint composers\, Compositions\, forms like thevaram Tiruppugazh\, Divya Prabandham\, Dasara Padas\, Annamayya Sankeerthana\, Astapadi \, Tarangam \, Bhadrachala Ramdas \, Divyanama and Utsava Sampradaya kritis \, thematic Compositions\, Group Kritis \, Kshetra Vaibhava Kritis \, Festive occasion kritis like Navavarnam\, Navarathri kritis\, Bhajans and abhangs.\nShort musicals or skits or Harikathas on great composers can be showcased . There will be musical exhibits showcasing these in stalls. \nAlso there will be Raga Repertoire \, Carnatic Antakshari\, Swara Or Laya Jam to be pre signed by participants . one Pattimandram or Music open house with students well planned with registered participants only for and against with the topic of Carnatic Banis through or in music – understanding Carnatic Banis as part of music. \nInviting Bay Area Music Schools to register for 20 min slots to perform (limited slots\, first come first basis) –
