Sri Prasad Bhandarkar Prasad Bhandarkar started learning Hindustani music when he was 8 years old. He was initiated into classical music by his mother. Prasad got his initial training on Harmonium and Hindustani vocal music.Soon he started learning bansuri flute from Shri Anantrao Patwardhan of Mumbai. In 1990, he was fortunate to become student of Pandit Hari Prasad Chaurasia. Prasad derives strong influence from Pandit Chaurasia’s emotional and soulful style of playing Bansuri. |

Sri. Satish Tare Madhusudan alias Satish started learning Tabla at a very tender age of 5 from his father Late Shri Madhav Tare who himself was disciple of great legendary Ustad Amir Hussein Khan sahib. Later on Satish got a rigorous training from Pt. Arvind Mulgaonkar ji for almost 15 years in Mumbai. He also got guidance from Pt. Vibhav Nageshkar ji while studying Diploma in Music from Mumbai University. During his stay in Pune, he learned from Shri Vivek Joshi. Currently Satish is taking advanced training from the world renowned Tabla maestro, none other than Pt. Swapan Chaudhuri ji, in California for last 10 years. |

Smt. Anuradha Sridhar Anuradha Sridhar has been a tireless teacher, performer and ambassador for Carnatic music in the Bay Area since 1989. Groomed in a milieu that traces its roots back to the most significant Carnatic composer of all time, Saint Thyagaraja, the strains of music have been handed down in her family like a precious heirloom, from generation to generation. Anuradha is the daughter and disciple of Lalgudi Srimathi Brahmanandan, the renowned violinist and the reputed sister of violin maestro Lalgudi G. Jayaraman. |

Sri. Shriram Brahmanandam Shriram Brahmanandam was initiated into the mrudangam by the renowned guru Harihara Sharma and later continued his training with C.V. Kuppuswami. He completed advanced training from the percussion stalwart Kumbakonam Rajappa Iyer. Shriram has won awards for "Best Mrudangist" during the music concert series held in the Indian Fine Arts Society and in the Youth Association for Classical Music. |

Sri. Mohan Rangan Sri Mohan Rangan (flute) was introduced to flute by his father Sri H. D. Govindaraj. Mohan started their flute career under the tutelage of Vidwan Sri S A Sashidhar. Then he pursued advanced coaching from Sangeetha Kalaratna Prof. H V Krishnamurthy. Having performed extensively as a duet with his brother Ravi Kiran in India, prominent critics from The Hindu and Sruthi Magazine have recognised Mohan and Ravi as having "regaled the audience with their melodious flute duet. Mohan is known for his "accuracy of form of ragas" and neat "swaraprasthara". |

Sri. Mahadevan Mahadevan has been involved in practicing and promoting Indian music and arts in the Bay Area for several years. Mahadevan has provided percussion accompaniment on Mridangam and Mohrsing for several concerts, musical events, and dance productions. He was introduced to the art of playing Mohrsing by Mridangam Maestro Srimushnam Raja Rao. He has accompanied many visiting artists from India as well as leading Bay Area musicians. In various capacities, Mahadevan has been a patron of the Bay Area community cultural organization, South India Fine Arts (SIFA) for several years. In 2004, Mahadevan was awarded the title of "Kala Seva Mani" by the Cleveland Thyagaraja Aaraadhana Committee. |

Sri. Anand Karve Anand has musical roots in his family and grew up in a rich musical environment in Mumbai, India. He was initiated into classical music by late Shri Narayanrao Deulkar. Anand had the fortune of receiving guidance from renowned harmonium player, late Shri Vishwanath Pendharkar. His teaching shaped Anand's harmonium skills and prepared him to pursue this art-form further. Anand now lives in San Francisco Bay area and continues to receive guidance from Shri Vivek Datar. He enjoys opportunities to listen to and accompany leading vocalists. Anand is an Electrical Engineer by training and Enterprise Business Systems Architect by profession. |

Sri. Vikram Ragukumar Vikram Ragukumar, is currently a disciple of All India Radio A grade Violinist Vidwan B. Raghuram. His initial training was under Late Vidwan H.V. Krishnamurthy at Vijaya College of Music. Through his years of learning, he has accompanied on the violin several artistes at performances in India and the USA apart from rendering solo and duet violin concerts. Vikram lives in Pleasanton, CA. |

Sri. Vignesh Venkatraman Vignesh Venkataraman, a junior at Stanford University, is a mridangam artist hailing from Umayalpuram Sri. K. Sivaraman’s school of music.Vignesh was initiated into playing mridangam by Sri. Anand Iyer, also from the same school. For the past 5 years, Vignesh has been traveling to India every summer undergoing advanced training under the tutelage of Umayalpuram Sri. K. Sivaraman. Vignesh has accompanied various artists, including some senior musicians in concerts in the San Francisco Bay Area and in India. He has participated in competitions at the Cleveland Thyagaraja Aradhana and has won several prizes there. He won the Best Mridangist award at the Spirit of Youth festival held by the Madras Music Academy in 2013. Vignesh is also learning vocal carnatic music from Smt. Meena Kothandaraman, a disciple of Sri. M.S. Anantharaman, and more recently from violinist Sri. R.K. Shriramkumar. |
